The purpose of the study was to assess the factors affecting implementation of the HIV/AIDS workplace Policy in CEFORD. The objectives of the study were: to assess the extent to which resource availability affected implementation of the HIV/AIDS Workplace policy in CEFORD; to establish the relationship between organizational control and implementation of the HIV/AIDS workplace policy in CEFORD and to find out the moderator influence of the Legal framework on the relationship between resource availability and organizational control in implementation of the HIV/AIDS workplace policy in CEFORD. A Case study design was used to enable the researcher gather the required data from CEFORD. A sample of 39 respondents was selected to participate in the study and the response rate was 90%. A triangulation of methods was used for data collection which included questionnaire, interviews and documentary analysis of related literature from publications and reports related to HIV/AIDS at the workplace. The findings of the study indicated that resource availability and organizational control had a positive and significant relationship with HIV/AIDS workplace policy implementation and identified gaps that hindered implementation of the policy. The study established that the legal framework had influence on resource availability and organizational control in implementing the HIV/AIDS workplace policy. The study recommended that CEFORD management should aggressively mobilize resources and develop strategies for sustaining HIV/AIDS programs at the workplace; put in place mechanisms for reporting and dissemination of reports on HIV/AIDS policy implementation; dissemination of the HIV/AIDS workplace policy and the National HIV/AIDS policy to staff.en_US
