Specifically, the study sought to analyse the contribution of; performance appraisal, reward and compensation management and engagement practices to motivation among BOU employees. The study used the descriptive research design and adopted both the qualitative and quantitative approaches. Data was collected using a structured questionnaire and interview guide from a sample of 100 respondents. The data was quantitatively and qualitatively analysed using measures of central tendency, Pearson’s correlation, regression analysis and content analysis respectively.
