In August 2017, Uganda Management Institute (UMI) and the Commonwealth of Learning (COL) signed a Memorandum of Understanding to implement Technology Enable Learning (TEL) at the Institute, the project is following a systematic process of institutional infrastructure audit, TEL policy development and capacity building through research, consultation, capacity building, and monitoring and evaluation. The project objectives are; Increase use of ICTs by more learners; Increase use of ICTs by more teachers; Increase number of courses using ICTs for teaching and learning; Improve student learning through use of ICTs; and Increase sharing of teaching and learning materials. MBA will be the first programme to be rolled out in 2019
